This printer is well supported under Windows Vista and Mac OS X 10.4 and 10.5 The prints in fast draft mode are still clear and almost laser quality - using far less ink. It has a very straightforward - direct from camera media printing fuction and a very easy to understand quick color copy function.

I've owned dozens of HP printers - mostly so I can test them to recommend them to customers. After purchasing Windows Office 2007 & having trouble installing it, a neighbor who is a computer technician came over & also had problems & ended up having to totally wipe off my computer & start from scratch to reinstall everything. I only use and buy HP printers mostly due their features and the ability to recycle ink cartridges. I have a HP Pavilion computer & a HP Photosmart C5280 printer.
